Green-Wood Cemetery / by Shaun Fauntleroy

So, for my Week Five artist date I took myself to Green-Wood Cemetery. I live nearby and I love walking through it (there are cherry blossom trees that bloom in the spring and a number of impressive mausoleums). I was blessed with a thick, gorgeous fog for my date. So eerie, so quiet…it was all such a gift. I only had about an hour, so I decided that I would make William “Boss” Tweed‘s plot my end point and then walk back from there. It took almost exactly an hour.

I probably won’t take photos for every artist date, but the scenery was so beautiful on this excursion that I couldn’t resist.
