So...I've decided that I'm going to take two weeks instead of one to do week six of The Artist's Way. I haven't really been able to dive into the exercises being that this is the first week of school and I'm a little overwhelmed. I don't want to skimp on this process, so...that's the decision. I don't know if anyone else has gone through this and made a similar decision, but if so feel free to share your discoveries. I'll let you know how this goes.
Still keeping up with the Morning Pages! In six weeks I've only missed them one and a half times (one day I only wrote half the usual amount) and I've found them invaluable. They're an excellent barometer for focus levels and I notice that if I wander off and daydream instead of writing my thoughts down, then that level of daydreaminess usually continues throughout the day and I'm not as productive. Forcing myself to focus and keep the thoughts on the paper helps a great deal. I'll keep doing them during this mini "hiatus" from the book.
